British Columbia is where this agency's method was proven. GasBoilers.ca, a gas-boiler division built for CANRO Heat, serves 26+ BC communities and has earned 5.0★ from 76+ Google reviews under its own name. Several other boiler-only brands in Ali Sedighi's portfolio are BC brands too, including VancouverBoilers.ca and BurnabyBoiler.ca. What we learned building them shapes how we approach every BC boiler company.
The BC market for boiler specialists
Short answer: a province where gas and electricity heat roughly equal shares of homes, so every boiler sale competes with a heat-pump conversation.
According to Statistics Canada, natural gas was the primary heating energy for 42% of BC households in 2023 and electricity for 36%. For a boiler specialist, that split means two audiences with different questions:
- Gas-heated hydronic owners asking whether to replace an old boiler with a condensing unit or a combi, and whether a heat pump would be cheaper to run.
- Electrically heated owners who want radiant comfort and are weighing an electric boiler, a hydronic heat pump or a gas conversion where service exists.
A BC boiler brand that pretends heat pumps don't exist loses credibility with both groups. One that explains the trade-offs clearly, and says when a boiler is the better choice, earns the call. The biggest markets (Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby and Richmond, then Kelowna and Saanich) behave as separate towns online, and each deserves its own genuine page.
Climate and the boiler calendar
Short answer: two calendars, one for the mild, wet coast and one for the colder Interior and North.
On the southwest coast, winters are mild and damp. Boiler demand there is spread across a long shoulder season, with emergency calls bunching around the occasional cold snap, and replacement decisions often made calmly in spring and summer. That favours brands with strong research content: comparison pages, sizing explainers reviewed by your technicians, and maintenance guides.
The Interior and the North have longer, colder heating seasons. Failures there are more urgent, so a brand serving Kelowna, Kamloops or Prince George needs emergency and repair pages that load fast and put the phone number first, with replacement content pushed in late summer before the cold arrives.
Regulators a BC boiler brand should link to
Short answer: Technical Safety BC, SkilledTradesBC and WorkSafeBC.
- Technical Safety BC oversees boilers and pressure vessels, natural gas and propane, and licenses gas and electrical contractors.
- SkilledTradesBC runs Skilled Trades Certification, which now applies to trades including gasfitter A and B and steamfitter/pipefitter.
- WorkSafeBC covers workplace safety and insurance.
On your website, list licences and certifications accurately and link to the regulator so customers can check for themselves. We summarise and link; licensing questions go to the regulator.
Programs to mention with care
Short answer: as of October 2026, BC's main home-energy programs target heat pumps and envelope work, not gas boilers.
The CleanBC Better Homes Energy Savings Program offers income-qualified rebates for heat pumps and related upgrades, and changed its requirements for invoices dated on or after July 6, 2026. Separately, a federal-provincial agreement announced on June 29, 2026 funds no-cost retrofits through BC Hydro and FortisBC for lower-income households, including some dual-fuel measures through FortisBC.
For most BC boiler brands, the honest content line is: "this equipment isn't covered by current rebates; here is when it is still the right choice." Any page that mentions a program should carry an "as of" date and a link to the administrator.
How we would build a BC boiler brand
Short answer: decide the territory first, then name, build and write for it.
- Territory and name. A single-city brand can use the city in its name, as VancouverBoilers.ca and BurnabyBoiler.ca do. A multi-community brand needs a broader name, as GasBoilers.ca shows. Our specialist brand service works through the choice.
- Site structure. System, manufacturer, symptom and town pages, with separate seasonal emphasis for coast and Interior. See boiler-only websites.
- Technical library. Honest boiler-versus-heat-pump comparisons, condensing and combi explainers, and maintenance content timed to the shoulder season, all reviewed by your licensed technicians through our technical content service.
- Local search. A profile and review routine for each brand, never shared with a parent company.

Frequently asked questions
Should a BC boiler brand be named after a city or the region?
It depends on how far you travel. A city-named brand, like VancouverBoilers.ca or BurnabyBoiler.ca, reads as local and specific. A brand covering many communities, like GasBoilers.ca, needs a name that doesn't tie it to one place.
Are there CleanBC rebates for gas boilers?
As of October 2026, the CleanBC Better Homes programs we reviewed focus on heat pumps and envelope upgrades rather than gas boilers. Check betterhomesbc.ca before mentioning any incentive.
Who oversees boiler and gas work in BC?
Technical Safety BC covers boilers, pressure vessels and gas, and licenses gas contractors. SkilledTradesBC handles trade certification. We link to both and leave compliance questions to them.
